Abstract: Ecological factors of mountainous ecosystem may be classified into 3 categories: independent, semi-independent and dependent. The independent one is steady, semi-independent one is relatively steady, and dependent one is closely related to external disturbances. Forest is the primary producer in mountainous ecosystem. It plays a dominant role in soil and water conservation, and gives a strong influence to the production of this ecosystem.
