Abstract: Deqing county is a base county of ecological agriculture researches in the midst of Hang-Jia-Hu Plain. This research is one of the basic researches in the county. In this paper, 26 townships are considered, 14 agroecolomic factors expressing main properties of the units are defined as divisioning factors, and the method of fuzzy cluster analysis are used. The county is divided into three agroecolomic regions. "Ⅰ" is located on the east of the county containing 16 townships, "Ⅲ" is located in the west of the county including 5 townships, and "Ⅱ" is between "Ⅰ" and "Ⅲ" including 5 townships. The value of the method in carrying out the research is also discussed in the paper.
