Abstract: "As a kind of tourist product, ecotourisnl is supplied and preserved by destination area at where there is less disturbance to environment by humans, and is purchased and experienced by tourists who live in a different ecosystem. Tourist ecology is a subject to study how a destinntion area can suypply ecotourism products to the mnrket in a sustninable wny. It includes three main fields as the following: (1) Impncts on ecosystems by activities of tourists nnd destination developers and managers; (2) 1)estination environment's influence on tourist activities; and (3) Applied tourist ecology, consists of ecological development and management of tourist region, ecological management and education to toursts in destination area, and the way of sustainable development of area."
