Abstract: The geographic distribution of Gordonia acuminata in four provinces of Yunnan,Guizhou,Sichuan and Guangxi is disconnected. The whole distribution region is divided into three parts: Sichuan(A), Guangxi(B), Yunnan(C). The Kira' WI and CI indices and the Xu wenduo' index were used to analyze the water and thermal range of the species distribution. The adaptive range of G. acuminata to light, soil type and pH was also discussed.
