Abstract: Polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) are ubiquitous organic persistent pollutant, which would cause potential risks to the environment and human beings. This paper summarized the origin and distribution of PAHs in mangrove, physiological effects of PAHs on mangrove plants, bioremediation of mangrove plants, and biodegradation of microbes in mangrove.Future research on PAHs in mangrove was reviewed
