Environmental issues in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia

Abstract: In this paper, the anthropogenic effects on the general environment of Lusaka City were disscused. The major sources of environmental concern in the Urban Lusaka also includes solid waste, sewage waste, sanitation, industrial pollution, traffic and atmospheric pollution, urban agriculture and environmental pollution and soil erosion due to wood harvesting for domestic fuel.
