Abstract: The paper discussed the spatial distribution of vegetation in Tianmu Mountain Nature Reserve. RS and GIS method provided a macans investigating the relationship between the dominant topographic factors(elevation, aspect, and slope)and the distribution of vegetation. The result quantitatively expressed the spatial distribution of vegetation in the study area. Some distribution paterns were concluded and explained. The study provided useful information for the management of Tianmu Mountain Nature Reserve.
