Abstract: Based on the on- the-spot investigation,the ecological distribution of rodents in Qinling and Dabashan regions was determined.it is shown that owing to the variations of elevation and natural environment,there is a definite variation pattern in the composition and amount of species of rodents in various vertical zones and habitats.Only mastered their distribution characteristics and variation patterns,can it be possible to better control and wipe out some rodents in forests and farmlands.
