Abstract

Abstract: According to 5 years observation, the author considers that the factors inducing sharp decrease of populaticn amounts of Anopheles hyrcanus sinensis Wiedemann in rice-planting region of Huqiao people's commune of Hui County are mainly: 1. The reform of irrigation system of rice,i.e., the popularization of damping irrigation method; 2. The decrease of surface water and 3. The harness of environment. Such a measure of ecological prevention and control efficiently control the population amounts of Anopheles hyrcanus sinensis Wiedemann in this region.
