Abstract

Abstract: To estimate the leaching rate of NO₃^- in the soil-plant system of Beijing-Tianjin-the Bohai Sea region caused by sewage irrigation, a simulated study with open lysimeter is carried out. The results show that when excess of NO₃^- beyond the intake ability of soil-plant system is produced, it may be a potential pollutant to the ground-water, which must be paid much attention in practice.
