LEAD CONTENT IN LEAVES OF WOODY PLANTS AS AN INDEX OF AIR LEAD-POLLUTION STATUS

Abstract: The purpose of this experiment is to indicate the air Lead-pollution status in Shenyang according to the quantitative variations of lead content in leaves of poplar, dryland willow and locust, which are the main tree species most adaptable in this city.Based on the lead content in leaves of above-mentioned woody plants, four regions of Shenyang are classified, namely: seriously polluted, polluted, light polluted and relatively clean regions.
