Abstract: The author participated in the on-the-spot comprehensive survey and data processing about the macro-agricultural construction and ecological equilibrium of Hainan Island in 1981.This paper discusses in more detail the present situation of this island's ecological environment, analyses the causes of its deterioration and puts forward some suggestions on the establishment of good ecological environment.
