Abstract: Southeastern Asia is enormously rich in vegetations. The total number of the species of flowering plants is 30,000—35,000. Many environmental factors affect growing plants and induce a wide range of vegetation types. There are nine vegetation types in Southeastern Asia: 1) tropical rainforest; 2) tropical monsoon forest; 3) montane rainforest; 4) montane monsoon forest; 5) mangrove; 6)sandy beach forest; 7) heath forest; 8) peat swamp forest and 9) secondary forest.
