Abstract

Abstract: Since 1970, Duanjiafan village of Macheng County has paid much attention to the forestry production. As a result of 13 years' effort, 6,432mu of land has been afforested, and the covering rate of forest is 80%. In doing so, the ability against natural calamities is enhanced, soils are ameliorated, crop yields are increased, and the stand storage of wood is increased to 72%.
