Abstract: Although the broadleaf trees in Yunnan have a smaller distribution area and a less wood storage capacity, their vegetation types and kinds are larger than coniferous. And, in comparison with coniferous, broadleaf trees have many merits. Nevertheless, broadleaf trees have been planted less and less over a long period of time.There exists a danger of being perished for them. Therefore, it's necessary to adopt measures to protect and develope broadleaf trees.
