Studies on Ecological Problems of Apodemus speciosus and Clethrionomys rufocanus at Changhong Forest Farm in Helong County of Jilin Province

Abstract

Abstract: From April to September in 1983,the ecological problems of Apodemus speciosus and Clethrionomys rufocanus were studied at Changhong forest farm.Results show that at this farm,thequantitative peak of Apodemus speciosus and Clethrionomys rufocanus is in July and first halfof August.The gestational peak of Apodemus speciosus is in June and that of Clethrionomys rufocanus is in May and August.The density of Apodemus speciosus in biotopes is closelyrelated to the EHF viral fantigens carried by these rats.It is also found that the gestationalpeak of Clethrionomys rufocanus in spring has at least some relations with the seasonal peakof EHF viral antigens.
