Abstract: The results of the studies indicate:1.The quantities of soil microorganisms vary with alti-tudes.The number of bacteria in the broadleaved forests or the broadleaved and coniferousmixed forests is greater than the coniferous forest, but soil fungi in the coniferous forestsand the mixed forests dominated by conifer are more abundant;2.The number of soil mi-croorganisms in the broadleaved forest is greater than the broadleaved and coniferous mixedforest, but the latter is greater than the coniferous forest;3.The intensity of soil bioche-mistry and the activities of soil enzymes in broadleaved forests are higher than the broadle-aved and coniferous mixed forests, but the latter higher than the coniferous forests.
