Abstract: Many species of native wild plants can grow naturally on the gangue banks. It took abouttwenty years for the pioneer plant community to develop into the climax vegetation——the se-condary deciduous bushwood,The clastic gangue is suitable for the growth of many species ofcrops and vegetables, and can yield normal production. Moreover, the gangue contains morephosphorus and potassium than the farm soils do,and it is easy to plough. Thus, biologicalmeasures, especially tree and grass planting or crop cultivation are the best for reclamation ofthe gangue both in ecological and economical principles.
