Abstract: Aspecific experimental device of microwave radiation was used for accurate count of "SAR" dose. Among 1650 eggs of Rana limnocharis, 650 eggs were control and 1000 eggs subjected to the radiation by LW-1 microwave machine which was made in Nanjing with a frequency of 2450 MHz at 8—28℃. The experimental eggs were divided into 4 groups (A, B, C and D) and radiated by microwave at 50 (mW/g), 100, 150 and 200 SAR respectively. Each group was subdivided into 3 small groups (100 eggs for one) and radiated for 4,8,32 min. respectively. Increase in mortality and embryonic malformation and development of Rana limnocharis after microwave radiation was observed and non-thermal effect of microwave was found.
