Abstract: The energy accumulation, distribution, fixation, and transformation in four Dahurian larch plantation communities are determined by means of caloric measurement. The caloric valuevaries with plant species and organs. The standing amount of energy, energy fixation andits transformation efficiency vary with different community structures.Communities whichform multiple layers and reasonable space structures possess higher values of energy accumulation, fixation and transformation efficiency, with 3.478?108J.m-2,3.129?107J.m-2.yr.-1and 2.243% respectively.
