Abstract: The theory Ⅰ of quantification is used to deal with the correlations between site factors and biomass of litterfall and undergrowth plant in black locust stands in the Loess Plateau region of Shanxi province. The result shows that geomorphological type, soil type, slope direction, altitude, slope gradient, age and density of stand are important factors in determining the quantities of biomass.
