Abstract: Ecological researches were carried out during 1982—1987 on Moschus moschiferus in Pangquangou natural reserve of Shanxi province.Research items include habitat characteristics,quantitative distribution map, population density, declination rate of quantity, breeding and feeding of Moschus moschiferus. Effective measures for its protection are also presented.
