Abstract: Based on investigation on growing environment and distribution regions of licorice,the medicinal quality of licorice in different habitats is compared from morphological,histological and phytochemical aspects.The relationships between its medicinal quality and climatic, soil and other ecological factors are preliminarily analyzed,which helps us have a better understanding on its growth habits and ecological requirements, and provide a scientific basis for its introduction and cultivation.
