Abstract: Tubificids are sampled mainly at an interval of two months in 1984.Six species are found in the sediment of Dushu lake, and Limnodrilus hoffmeistri and Branchura sowerbyi are dominant species. The defecation rates of these two species are measured and the amounts of sediment renewal are estimated.
