Abstract: Site investigations and researches in 1980-1990 show that evergreen broad-leaved and artificial Chinesefir forests in Liluo forested region can reduce the variation range of atmospheric and soil temperature,de-crease physical evaporation, intercept precipitation and redistribute it,reduce surface runoff, prevent soilerosiOn and conserve water supply.
