Abstract: The social and ecological study of emigrants in the Three Gorges reservoir area is becoming more andmore important in the planning of this great key water control project.With moving process of emigrantsin the area as a line, this pater deals with the present situation surrey,displacement analysis and settlement site designning of the reservoir ernigrants as to give a preliminary research frame work of emigrantecology.
