Abstract: This paper introduces three types of better benefical agroforestry systems,crop-paulowina, fruit tree-crop and household-gardening in the hilly regions of Anlu city of Central Hubei.The structural and functional characteristics of t hese three systems are revealed,which shows that agro-forestry system is a land-utilization system with more species,more space-ternporal changing,less input, more output and better benefit.
