Abstract: This paper stresses on the reproductive strategies such as reproductive allocation and reproductiveeffort in plants, which include :(1)seed reproduction and vegetative reproduction;(2)conceptsof reproductive allocation and reproductive effort;(3)relationships between repreductive alloca-tion and life history,successive dynamics as well as plant growth;(4)influences of homothallismand dioecism,fruits and seeds, sexual reproduction and vegetative reproduction on reproductiveeffort;(5)life history and reproductive time.
