Abstract: Temperature is an important factor affecting honeybee's activity during its hibernation, Italian honeybee has been raised in China for a long time. In winter, it stops its out-honeycomb activity where the mean temperature is below 6℃,and gathers up as a group at 4℃. At 0℃,the group structure turns into a tight close-knit ball to preserve heat, and to prolong the individuals life. When the mean temperature is above 6 ℃,the bee group comes loose, which means the hibernation coming to an end,and the queen bee will start laying eggs.
