Abstract: A lot of studies have demonstrated that environmental stress has strong effects on insect-plant interactions and population dynamics of insects,This paper reviewed some studies about the effects of drought, nutrient deficits, organism feeding and air pollution stresses on insect-plantinteractions and pest outbreaks. It is important to have a clear understanding how insect-plant interactions are affected by the stresses and how we can control pest outbreak in stressed environment.
