Abstract: Shifosi reservoir is one of the water transferring projects from north to south in northeastern China. Exactly estimating the effects of the reservoir on its adjacent ecological environment is the bases for feasibility analysis of the water transferring project.Therefore, a lot of hydrological,meteorological and vegetational data have been collected and investigated.With the principles of hydrology and meteorology and by means of Chinese and foreign reports on water transferring,the prediction of the effects of Shifosi reservoir on hydrological,meteorological and vegetational conditions around it was made through analysis and calculation in the paper.
