Abstract: he paper make a systematic exposition of concept, classification and characters of disturbance in ecology, and emphatically discussed about general theory and laws about disturbance in landscape ecolo-gy, including theory of Disturbance Hierarchies, principle of Disturbance Scale and law of spread of disturbance. Meantime, application of the theory of disturbance of vegetation systematic, ecological vulnerability and restoration ecology was dealt with.
