Abstract: The vegetation data of the forest community in Wanmulin Nature Reserve, Fujian Province, were used as the information for analyses of flora and species diversity. The vascular plants collected and known in the region are 161 families, 581 genera and 1205 species, including 30 families, 49 genera and 112 species of Peridophyte, 7 families, 12 genera and 14 species of Gymnospermae, 124 families, 520 genera and 1079 species of Angiospermae. The floristic elements in the region are complex, and the total amounts of tropical distribution type to 58.65%. The species diversity and composition diversity of family_genus_species are both high. The species diversity is the hightest on tree synusia, and decreases in order from tree to shrub to vine synusia to herb synusia in the plots.
