Abstract: Sapium sabiferum Roxb. was introduced from subtropical area to Shandong, the warm temperate area located north latitude 34°25′~38°23′ and east longitude 114°36′~122°43′ during 1950. The trees growing in the eastern and southern parts of Shandong performed perfectly in height and diameter growth, flowering and fruiting, but less in branch growing and fruit yield under the conditions of lower mean annual temperature and mean Jan.temperature, less≥10℃ effective accumulated temperature and precipitation compared with provenances.

Key words: Pinus koraiensisdominated broadleaved mixed forest, forest gap size, relative light intensity, herbaceous plant.
