Study of the Temperature_limiting Values of Larva of the Mullet (Liza haematocheila)

Abstract

Abstract: he temperature_limiting values for larva of Liza haematocheila Temminck. et Schlegel.(mullet) were studied. When the temperature, acclimated to 25, 31, 34, 36℃, the UILT were 36 8, 37 5, 38 5 and 38 8℃, respectively. The UUILT was 38 8℃. The larva mullet's temperature_limiting values were UILT-2℃, repectirely. MWAT of larva mullet was 30 1℃, maximum temperature for short_termexposure was 36 3℃. The last two temperature_limiting values were important criteria for heat discharge.
