Abstract: The Spartina anglica living in interlidal zone obviously affected the soil habitats of Perenereis aibuhitensis. The NH4+_N concentration in the soil was reduced, while the organic matter and the porosity were increased. S.anglica altered both the physical structure and the chemical character of the substrate, apparently fastering the annelid infauna.

Key words: Pinus koraiensisdominated broadleaved mixed forest, treefall, pit and mound, microclimate;, vegetation regeneration.
