An Overview of Genecology

Abstract: Genecology as a branch of ecology, is increasingly attracting attention of ecologists. In the paper, its establishment, development, basic research contents and advances were reviewed briefly. Meanwhile, the theoretical and practical significance of genecology was also pointed out. Genecology will become a new hot topic and help people better understand the relationships between organisms and environments.

Key words: poplar plantation, ion exchange resin membrane, nutrient availability, soil enzyme activity, canonical correlation analysis.
