Abstract: Different characteristics of the Esterase Isozyme of Gloeostrum incarnatum S. Ito & Imai were investigated by polycrylamide gel electrophoresis. The results showed that the esterase isozyme patterns of 10 strains isolated from different ecological environment were obviously different. The differences are mainly related to the genetic diversities and partly related to the metabolic levels of different growth period of the 10 strains.
