Abstract: In many cities, groundwater for drinking polluted by nitrate and nitrite nitrogen has a serious hazard to public health. It is increasingly concerned about that various of chemical substances represented by nitride have polluted groundwater and soil. The article analyzed domestic, foreign and WHO's drinking water quality standard of nitrate and nitrite nitrogen concentration and the problems of pollution. Based on the former practice, it expatiated the bioremediation and physical chemistry remediation technology for groundwater polluted by nitrate and nitrite nitrogen and the technology development trend.
