Advances in Molecular Ecology of Marine Mammals

Abstract

Abstract: The molecular techniques applied in the molecular ecology of marine mammals mainly include sequencing of mtDNA control region,DNA fingerprinting,mtDNA RFLP,and alloyzme.These techniques have been used to document population structure and genetic diversity,social structure and migration behavior,individual identification and population size estimate,as well as food habitat analysis,etc.

Key words: livestock dung, estrogens, ultrasonic extraction, solid phase extraction, high performance liquid chromatography, fluorescence detector.
