Forest Vegetation Type of West Tianmu Mountains and Their Characteristics of Distribution

Abstract: West Tianmu Mountains is situated in the northwestern Zhejiang province,which is a part ofthe northern boundary of the middle-subtropical Zone.Broad-leaved evergreen forest is itsclimatic vegetation.From the foothill up to the top the vertical distribution of the forest ve-getation arranges in the order of broad-leaved forest evergreen broad-leaved evergreen-deci-duous mixed forest,broad-leaved deciduous forest and deciduous dwarfed forest.The vegeta-tion of West Tianmu Mountains is Characterized by Cryptomeria forest(Cryptomeria for-tunei).
