Abstract: This paper introduced the chemical forms of soil heavy metals and their analytical methods, with the focus on the distribution and conversion of different form heavy metals and their affecting factors. The chemical forms of soil heavy metals are of significance for evaluating their mobility and bioavailability, and the possibility of soil remediation, while chemical form analysis could reflect the contributions of natural and human activities to the sources of soil heavy metals and their ecotoxicities.Soil heavy metals could have different toxicities and environmental behaviors due to their chemical form conversion.
