Abstract: The standard metabolic rate of Paralichthys olivaceus was increased with its increasing body weight, whose relationship could be described as a power function. The rate change with tempreature could be expressed by an exponential function, Rs=02340W0.6695e00372T. There was no significant interaction between body weight and temperature in the process of the standard metabolism for the living organism.
