Chinese Journal of Applied Ecology (ISSN 1001-9332 CN21-1253/Q), originated in 1990, is a monthly academic periodical sponsored by the Chinese Society of Ecology and the Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and published by Science Press. The journal publishes original research papers, case studies, short communications, and review articles from all areas of ecology, including forest ecology, agricultural ecology, grassland ecology, fishery ecology, natural resource ecology, landscape ecology, global ecology, urban ecology, pollution ecology, chemical ecology, restoration ecology and ecological engineering etc.
It provides all the information and services for authors, scientists, researchers, faculty, students, professionals, practitioners engaged in the fields of applied ecology, earth science, forestry, agronomy and environmental science, as well as related managers and decision makers.
It is indexed in Chinese Science Citation Index, ChinaInfo (CD & Web), and BA, CA, CBST(Japan) and §²§¨(Russia). The journal is of good quality and superior standard, gaining the third-class award of Chinese excellent science and technology periodical and the second-class award of excellent science in 1992 and technology periodical of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1992, 1996, and 2000. It was selected into ¡°the double benefit journal of Chinese periodical matrix¡± in 2001.
