Abstract: The total protein, amino acid and glucogen contents in snail,Oncomelania hupensis from river beach and its agro-forestry systems are determined. The results show that the contents of total protein and 15 amino acids in it are decreased significantly, especially those in the female by 30%.After flood fall, the glycogen content in snails from agro-forestry systems starts to be decreased in two months, and is decreased by 38% in seven months.
