Abstract: With the rapid development of remediation technology for contaminated soils in China, remediation standard has become a bottleneck in judging the effects of this technology. In this paper, some suggestions on the establishment of remediation standards for contaminated soils,e.g.,choice of contaminants, methods of detection, classification of contaminated soils, protection of groundwater, and assessment of toxicological risks were put forward, based on the analysis of the disadvantages of Soil Environmental Quality Standard.
