Abstract: Natural contents of 23 elements in soils of Karakoram and West-Kunlun Mountains of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are demonstrated in this paper. The characteristics of regional difference of soil elements in this region, the world and China are discussed using contrating and regional differential coefficient methods. Through correlation and principal component analysis, the relationship of intergrowth and association among soil elements and the cluster characteristics manifesting in soil types are revealed, and the correlation and differential characteristics of elements in soils of this region are further explained.
