Resistance of cotton nectariless character to bollworm and pink bollworm

Abstract

Abstract: Studies on the resistance of cotton nectarness character to bollworm and pink bollworm show that in experimental areas of Hefei, the number of bollworm eggs is decreased by 40～53.3%, that of damaged buds and balls by 50～70.3%, and the percentage of wormeaten seed by 43～57%. The similar effect is also observed for pink bollworm.
