Abstract

Abstract: The current situation of forest site study in the world is reviewed from the view point of vegetational,physiographical,combined multifactorial and numerical approaches. The historical background, basic principles, practical methods and application requirements of various representative schools or methods are analyed contrastedly, and the development trend of world forest site study is also discussed.
