Abstract: Growth model of digitizing dominant tree height of Schima superba was established by digitizing theory. The multiple correlation coefficient was up to 0.9,Ttest shows that the dominant heights of Gugertree plantations were significantly correlated to the factors used. This result shows that slope form, depth of A+ABsoil horizons, soil texture, soil compaction and management level are very important factors, and slope position, slope direction and to the scores of digitizing site indices, site types were determined to investigate the growth tendencies of Gugertree plantations under diffeient conditions, and the site quality was evaluated. The selection of Gugertree planting sites was also discussed.
